All payment information entered is done on Sage Pay's encrypted pages. Curtains Made Simple does not handle or store any credit/debit card or other payment information, it is all handled by Sage Pay.

In addition to taking payments online we also accept cheques and bank transfers as well.

Additional Top Tips ...

Padlock - Make sure the payment page where you enter your credit card details has a padlock symbol at the beginning of the address bar. Clicking on the padlock will reveal further security information about the site.

HTTPS Not HTTP - Make sure that on the payment details page the start of the URL has HTTPS and not HTTP.

Privacy Policy - Make sure the website has a privacy policy.

3D Secure - Make sure that your credit card is registered for 3-D secure. This provides an additional layer of security by asking you to enter a password that is registered with your card provider.

Contact Details - Is it a real business with real people? Make sure the business lists its physical address, company number, VAT number and telephone number.

Anti-Virus software and Firewall - Make sure the computer your using has an up-to-date anti-virus software and firewall.

Install Computer Updates - Ensure that any Microsoft, Mac or Linux patches and updates have been installed.

Up-to-date Browser - Ensure that you are using most recent version of Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox. They will be the most secure. Some browsers like Chrome will automatically install the latest version. Others like Firefox or Internet Explorer will prompt you or give you the option when installing updates.

Keep Cards Safe - Keep your cards physically safe at all times.

Keep Financial Information Safe - Don't leave financial information laying around and shred financial documents before disposing.

Check Statements - Check your statements agree with your expected transactions.

Credit Card Are Safer - Consider using a credit card as they offer a higher level of consumer protection than debit cards.

Public Computers - If possible avoid making online payments on public computers e.g. internet cafes.
