Skinny laMinx Fabric Collection

Birds, flowers, leaves and deer in geometric prints and earthy colours are this year’s new design range titled ‘Rough Cuts’ from Skinny laMinx - the flourishing company founded by self-taught illustrator and designer Heather Moore. The fourth generation South African resident and artist insists on screen-printing her own textiles by hand. Her design style she describes as being both ‘clean’ and ‘simple.’ All Moore’s designs are based on nature and discoveries in and around her home town of Cape Town, resulting in a delightful collaboration of colourful and flamboyant South African influence and the orderly Swedish aesthetic she admires so much.
