Linum Fabric Collection

Unlike traditional and contemporary Swedish design, Linum’s latest collection contains no references to wildlife. Instead the stripes are based on coloured produced in spring and summer meadows. But then this is not a traditional Swedish company, having its roots back in India more than four decades ago. Swedish founder Sven Kempe, who was travelling in Southern Asia at the time, returned to Sweden and created a company where Indian people could thrive through their own work. The result was a collaboration between Indian and Swedish design and which continues to this day. Again, you may be familiar with Linum designs via home ware store IKEA.
